ROAD RACING CARBON HANDLEBAR TESTING VIDEO
This is a basic understanding of how we test our carbon fiber handlebars. During the first stage of the test, we add a load of 150kgs and run it on the test machine 600 times over two minutes. After this test, we check for any stresses or cracks. If it passes, we go to the second stage of our test. Here we add a constant pressure of 150kgs for a total of 30 seconds. We do this procedure twice. If the difference between the two runs is larger than 0.3mm, we will regect the product. If our bars pass this preliminary two-staged test, you can be assured that your bars are ready to ride from day one. We test all our carbon fiber handlebars like this, one piece at a time. Each bar receives an ID number and date of when it performed and passed the tests. You can find the test report on www.fouriers-bike.com in the future.
